Sobre

The ideia of this blog is to help  those who are learning Portuguese from a different perspective.
It's possible to find tons of information on formal Portuguese, such as grammar, but when it comes to everyday comunication it's not that easy.
Hearing us talk, interacting, or even going to a supermarket can become a stressful situation because when you're in Brazil, the speed, the idioms, slangs, expressions and phonetics may be different from the ones taught in class and on books.
So, from the texts posted here, to the content and the language, the focus is to simplify  Portuguese.
English is the language chosen for most of the posts because, from my experience, most people learning Portuguese speak English at an intermediate level. It's a way to reach as many people as possible.
Keep in mind that this is not a website that will teach you portuguese, but it can surely clear some questions.
Feel free to suggest, ask questions and add any comments that relate to Brazil, the culture, history, language, customs, habits, and so on.

Espero que gostem.
Abraços!
